Joe Egan

Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

The Athlone Foot Clinic is owned and run by Joe Egan.
Joe graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry. He is MChSI registered and HSE Approved. He also works in private practice in Blackrock & Mount Merrion Co Dublin. He has clinical experience in podiatry and biomechanics as part of his undergraduate degree.
He also took part in placement in private practice, such as Firefly, one of Ireland leading orthotic manufactures who are based both in Sligo. He has undertaken a dry needling/acupuncture and taping course during his studies in Galway.
A keen runner, Joe understands how important it is to be at your very best. Married to Martyna, they have a busy house with two small daughters.

Marisa Murray

Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

Marisa is a podiatrist and qualified from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a BSc (Hons) degree in podiatry. She is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland and is HSE approved. Over the past three years, Marisa has gained experience in all aspects of podiatry including routine podiatry care, diabetes care, lower limb biomechanics and gait analysis. In 2018, Marisa spent time in volunteering in Tanzania, providing podiatric care to people in rural villages. She was involved in developing the “Feet First” podiatry programme which educates rural Tanzanian communities on the importance of foot health. Marisa is currently lecturing part-time at NUI Galway on the Podiatric Medicine programme.

Siobhan Ryan

Musculoskeletal Podiatrist, BSc (Hons) Pod. MChSI.

Siobhan graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland. Siobhan has gained experience in both private practice and hospital settings across Ireland. This experience has given her the knowledge and skills to treat and manage a wide range of podiatric conditions including routine care, diabetic foot care, gait analysis and biomechanics. Siobhan has always had a keen interest in sports and enjoys swimming and football and strongly believes in providing a high quality of care for her patients by keeping up to date with the latest evidence based practice.
